All your messages stay on an Iota (self-hosted message storage), a way to decentralize messages away from our server and centralize them for your own devices and not scatter them to achive reliable synchronisation.

Your Iota is also very flexible, you can host it anywhere you want and by anyone you want. It’ll store messages without your host being able to read them.

We’re also fully E2EE (End-To-End-Encrypted). As mentioned, the host of your Iota cannot read your messages, only the person you’re chatting with can. We use a Diffie-Hellman key exchange to derive a shared secret only you and the person you’re chatting with can access, which then encrypts your messages.

We don’t sell your personal information, collect analytics or error reports. We rely on community reports and feedback.
